Since beginning Lifestyle Communities in 2003, our mission has always been to enable working, semi-retired and retired people over 50 to enjoy affordable luxury living in a secure community setting, while feeling empowered, connected and liberated enough to take advantage of new possibilities with greater peace of mind.
Lifestyle Communities’ biggest differentiator is the customer-centric ethos that guides and enriches every function within our business. It’s this heartfelt and empathic approach to delivering our services that creates amazing experiences for our homeowners and the most wonderful lived experience in our Communities.
Over the years, two adages have remained central to our growth and enduring success;
The first is “you never get a second chance at a first impression”, and we fulfil this philosophy in a number of ways; from the presentation of our communities and their resort-style facilities, to the earnest manner in which our services are delivered. We always put our best foot forward.
The second is “a customer may forget what you told them, but they will never forget how you made them feel”. We’re committed to making every single one of our customers feel included, empowered, respected, engaged and valued. We do this by making every customer touchpoint an amazing experience; one that they want to share with their friends and family. Whether our customers are visiting us for the first time, or have lived in a Lifestyle Community for years, we’re big believers in making everyone feel at home. And we know what it takes to get prospective and current residents talking about us – for all the right reasons!

Since opening our first community at Brookfield, Lifestyle Communities has since grown to 20 communities either open, completed or under development with over 3,500 homeowners calling us home. With each new community, we take the opportunity to evolve the model to meet the needs of our changing customer. Our homes and communities are built to a quality that is without peer in Victoria and which still meets our mandate to be affordable and sustainable.
It’s working – homeowner recognition
Our homeowners tell us our model works – feedback from our detailed surveying shows 95% of homeowners are prepared to recommend Lifestyle Communities to friends and family, while 54% of all our new home sales are directly referred by existing homeowners. In our industry, or any industry for that matter, these are outstanding metrics which speak to our quality, service and affordability.
