Meet the Board

David Blight, Chair

David Blight is the Chair of Lifestyle Communities® Limited. He was appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive Director on 15 June 2018 and assumed the role of Chair from 1 September 2024. He is also a member of the People & Culture Committee and the Audit & Risk Committee.

David has over 40 years of experience in property investment, development and fund management in Australia and globally.

He was previously the CEO and co-founder of ARA Australia, the Australian business of Singapore based ARA Asset Management, prior to its acquisition by the ESR Group in January 2022. He also held the position of Chief Investment Officer of ARA Private Funds, the private equity real estate business of the ESR Group.

David’s previous roles include Vice Chairman of ING Real Estate and Global Chairman and CEO of ING Real Estate Investment Management based in The Netherlands. He has also held senior executive positions with Armstrong Jones, Mirvac Group and APN Property Group.

Mark Blackburn, Non-Executive Director

Mark was appointed to the Board of Lifestyle Communities® Limited as a Non-Executive Director on 1 December 2019. He is also Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee.

Mark has 23 years of experience as a CFO in both listed and unlisted companies in the financial services, manufacturing, and mining sectors.

In particular, Mark has expertise in financial management and advice, the management of financial risks, capital management as well as leading key strategic projects including acquisitions and divestures.

Mark retired as Group CFO and Company Secretary of McMillan Shakespeare in December 2020.

Mark is currently a Non-Executive Director of FleetPartners Group Limited and Pro-Pac Packaging Limited where he is also the Chair of the Audit, Business Risk, and Compliance Committee.

Claire Hatton, Non-Executive Director

Claire Hatton was appointed to the Board of Lifestyle Communities® Limited as a Non-Executive Director on 1st May 2022. She is also Chair of the People & Culture Committee.

Claire brings over 30 years of international business leadership experience across the technology, digital and travel sectors. Her extensive career spans senior marketing and commercial roles at British Airways, Qantas, Travelport and Google across Australia, New Zealand, multiple countries in Asia and the UK.

With deep experience in scaling go-to market teams, digital transformation and future of work initiatives, Claire applies valuable perspectives developed during her roles as a technology company executive and a leadership and AI consultant. Her 17 years of governance experience spans ASX-listed companies, private enterprises and international organisations.

Claire is a Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed company Tyro Payments Ltd (ASX: TYR). She is also the Co-Founder and Director of Full Potential Labs, a leadership development company working with global technology firms.

JoAnne Stephenson, Non-Executive Director

JoAnne Stephenson was appointed to the Board of Lifestyle Communities® Limited as a Non-Executive Director on 1 July 2024. JoAnne is a member of the People & Culture Committee and the Audit & Risk Committee.

JoAnne is an experienced company director in listed, private and government organisations. She is a Chartered Accountant with expertise in financial management, risk management, audit and corporate governance gained through an executive career over 25 years, including senior Partner roles with KPMG.

JoAnne is currently on the Boards of ASX entities Helia Group Ltd, Qualitas Limited and IAG Ltd.

Anita Addorisio, Company Secretary

Anita joined the Lifestyle Communities® team as Company Secretary in December 2021.

Anita is a highly regarded finance professional with over 20 years’ experience in senior finance roles within public and private entities across IT technology, mining, industrial and public practice sectors, including 10+ years ASX listed company secretary experience.

Anita specialises in corporate governance, secretarial support and statutory financial reporting. Her expertise also extends to IPO’s, capital raisings, acquisitions, takeovers and restructures.

Henry Ruiz, Chief Executive Officer

Henry Ruiz was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Lifestyle Communities® Limited in March 2025.

Henry is a seasoned executive with over 25 years’ experience in the property, digital media and technology sectors. For the last 15 years, Henry has been with REA Group, where he served as CEO of REAx, Chief Strategy and Product Officer, Chief Digital Officer and CEO of REA Asia. He has served in every commercial role reporting to the Group CEO and was a key executive during an extended period of significant revenue and shareholder value growth at REA.

Henry has gained extensive global leadership experience working with Local Matters in the USA and Asia Pacific, World Directories in Europe across five countries and Sensis in Australia. Henry holds a Master of Applied Psychology from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology; a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours) from Latrobe University; a certificate in Strategy, Disruption and Innovation from Harvard University. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Angela Farbridge-Currie, Chief Financial Officer

Angela joined Lifestyle Communities® in February 2025. She has an extensive background in the property development and construction sector, with 20 years of experience gained in roles across finance, corporate advisory and audit.

Angela is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania. She is recognised for her strategic thinking, problem-solving, and ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

Angela is responsible for our Finance function, ensuring strong financial governance and supporting the continued growth and success of Lifestyle Communities®.

Simône de la Harpe, Executive General Manager - Experience (People & Communities)

Simône joined Lifestyle Communities® in November 2017 as an experienced HR leader who specialises in business partnering, to drive operational and performance excellence.

Working predominately in organisations with a strong customer centric focus, Simône is committed to implementing strategies to attract, retain and develop market leading talent as well as elevating our end-to-end customer and community experience for our 5,500+ homeowners.

Simône leads our People Experience, Customer Experience and Community Operations teams.

Chris Paranthoiene, Executive General Manager - Corporate Development & Acquisitions

Chris joined Lifestyle Communities® in February 2007 having previously worked in finance after completing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne. Chris’s role and responsibilities include land acquisition, feasibility analysis, planning and project delivery.

Chris has developed a large network of property contacts throughout Melbourne and he has a diligent approach to land procurement and development.

Fiona Lloyd, Executive General Manager - Design & Construction

Fiona joined the Lifestyle Communities® team as Executive General Manager Design & Construction in May 2023. Fiona has over 20 years of experience within the construction industry, having held a number of senior construction roles with Coles, Cotton On, Lend Lease, and Baulderstone.

Fiona has also worked with external consultants in the research, development, and implementation of several sustainability initiatives that are now being widely used throughout the construction industry as sustainable alternatives to currently used materials.

Fiona has a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from Deakin University, and has a Domestic Builders Licence unlimited with the VBA.

Ben Auchettl, Executive General Manager - Sales

Ben joined the Lifestyle Communities® team as Executive General Manager Sales in March 2024.

With over 25 years of sales and customer experience Ben has been part of companies such as AC Nielsen, Fairfax Media and most recently 13 years at REA Group where he was EGM Sales Residential & Commercial.

Ben takes a longer-term strategic lens on sales, balancing customer experience with revenue growth whilst focusing on building engaged and empowered teams that hold the customer as central to everything they do.

David Jennings, Executive General Manager - Marketing

David joined the Lifestyle Communities team as Executive General Manager Marketing in October 2024.

David comes from a technology background, having spent over 6 years at Uber in Europe and San Francisco where he led Global Rider Product Marketing. Prior to that David comes from FMCG at Mondelez and Reckitt Benckiser. Most recently David launched and grew Little Birdie, an AI Shopping technology company that sold to Cashrewards (ANZ Bank) in 2024.

Always led by the customer, and with an optimistic leadership style, David brings both a creative and commercial lens to growth. David has a double bachelor of Business (Marketing) and Arts (Sociology) from Monash University.
