What are the Site Fees?
We've brought everything together in one place to help you understand the costs of buying and owning a Lifestyle Communities home, as well as the ongoing costs of living in one of our communities.
Understanding the Site Fee
Typically, when living outside Lifestyle Communities, you may have many smaller costs to account for, such as a gym membership, sports club memberships, pool access, cinema visits, gardening maintenance and more. You might even have your own pool that is expensive and time consuming to maintain. While individually, these costs might seem small, roll them up and they’re eating into your monthly expenses.
Lifestyle Communities® charge a fortnightly Site Fee to lease the land your home sits on and access shared amenities. The Site Fee is also referred to as Rent in your Residential Site Agreement.
Rent assistance may be available if you receive the Age Pension or another eligible government payment.

90-year land lease
Enjoy secure tenure over the land your home sits on, protected under the Residential Tenancies Act.

Access beautifully maintained shared spaces and amenities, including a Clubhouse, pool, gym, cinema and more.
Supportive lifestyle team
Lifestyle Managers are available during business hours to keep your community running smoothly.
Low-maintenance living
A professional landscaping team maintains your front garden and all shared spaces.

How much does it cost?
Being transparent about the costs involved with moving into a Lifestyle Community is important, that's why we're breaking down the expenses for you. These expenses only cover the site fee and exclude other household costs such as utilities.

Under the agreement with Lifestyle Communities, the Site Fee is payable by direct debit or Centrepay each fortnight, on a Tuesday. The Site Fee is reviewed annually on 1 July and increases are capped at CPI or 3.5%, whichever is greater.
*Lifestyle Communities reviews their fee structure on 1 July each year. Centrelink reviews the Age Pension and Rent Assistance on 20 March and 20 September each year. For more information on rent assistance, please call Centrelink at 13 2300 or visit www.servicesaustralia.gov.au.
