In this post, Gabriella shares her super simple and delicious recipe for Hoisin lettuce duck wraps.
Ingredients:
2 tsp olive oil
2 duck breast fillets
1 tbsp Hoisin sauce
1 tbsp plum jam
1 cucumber, cut into strips
4-6 spring onions, cut into thin strips
1 Cos lettuce, separated into 12 lettuce boats
Hoisin sauce and sliced spring onion, to serve
Fried shallots, to serve
Method:
Marinate the duck fillets in plum jam and 1 tbsp Hoisin sauce
Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the duck fillets in a fry pan, skin side down and cook for two to three minutes on medium heat. Turn duck and cook for another two minutes until the duck is just cooked. Remove the pan from the heat.
Divide the cucumber, spring onion and duck between the lettuce wraps, placing them in the centre. Place the fried shallots on top , then roll up the wraps. Serve with extra Hoisin sauce for dipping.
