Your best offence is a good defence! Unfortunately we’re not the first to give this advice and now hand sanitiser is quite the commodity!
Luckily, we have an easy DIY solution. Follow our step-by-step guide below to create your own hand sanitiser in the comfort of your very own home!
- Isopropyl alcohol
- Aloe Vera gel
- Tea tree oil
Mix 3 parts isopropyl alcohol to 1 part Aloe Vera gel. Add a few drops of tea tree oil to give it a nice fragrance:
- 350ml isopropyl alcohol
- 2 tsp glycerine (keeps skin moisturised)
- 1 tbsp gydrogen peroxide
- 90 ml distilled water
- Spray bottle
- Mix the isopropyl alcohol and the glycerine.
If you don’t have glycerine, remember to moisturise hands after each sanitiser use.
- Mix in the hydrogen peroxide and distilled water
- Pour the solution into a spray bottle and use as needed. This can be sprayed on your hands or onto a paper towel to use as a wipe.
