Your best offence is a good defence! Unfortunately we’re not the first to give this advice and now hand sanitiser is quite the commodity!

Luckily, we have an easy DIY solution. Follow our step-by-step guide below to create your own hand sanitiser in the comfort of your very own home!

Gel Materials

  • Isopropyl alcohol
  • Aloe Vera gel
  • Tea tree oil

Gel Instructions

Mix 3 parts isopropyl alcohol to 1 part Aloe Vera gel. Add a few drops of tea tree oil to give it a nice fragrance:

Spray Materials

  • 350ml isopropyl alcohol
  • 2 tsp glycerine (keeps skin moisturised)
  • 1 tbsp gydrogen peroxide
  • 90 ml distilled water
  • Spray bottle

Spray Instructions

  1. Mix the isopropyl alcohol and the glycerine.

If you don’t have glycerine, remember to moisturise hands after each sanitiser use.

  1. Mix in the hydrogen peroxide and distilled water
  2. Pour the solution into a spray bottle and use as needed. This can be sprayed on your hands or onto a paper towel to use as a wipe.
