COVID safe events
Brighter days are here and events are back on and in full swing. While we navigate the new world of check-ins and passports, it's great to know that we have your safety and our homeowners' safety as our first priority when you visit a Lifestyle Community event.
We’re sure you’ve seen and heard it all before: “our staff wear masks” or “we deep clean”. Well, we're more action than talk. In fact, to ensure the safety of all our homeowners, we have taken COVID safe measures above and beyond.
This is what you can expect when you attend a Lifestyle Community event:
We'll welcome you with open arms (from a 1.5m distance) and request a QR check-in upon entry. If that doesn’t work for you, a manual check-in is available with one of our Lifestyle Consultants, along with our service with a smile (behind a mask). We use both the government check-in app and our own. If there is a COVID case or learn that a close contact attended the event, we have our finger on the trigger and can communicate with all event attendees immediately.
Not sharing is caring. All food and drinks are packaged individually; which means fewer charcuterie boards and more personal picnic baskets. You will also receive your own glass and a name tag, should you like one.
We're reducing all of our density limits. In fact, for our larger scale events, Clubhouse Openings, we have been inviting guests to attend at different interval times. No one misses out, the quintessential Lifestyle Communities® atmosphere remains, but everyone feels safe.
We understand that attending an event is not something you would readily consider doing, given our current climate. With this in mind, we always offer an online version. That's right, lights, camera, action! At each event, we set up a computer to stream live for our audiences who would prefer to stay at home.
Cleaning pre- and post-events? Well, that's just business as usual over here. Just ask Maxine, our Community Manager at Lifestyle Mount Duneed. No particle of dust stands a chance under her watch. We sanitize, sterilize and everything in-between, before and after every event.
Finally, we've had our fair share of event cancellations, and we're not afraid to have any more. The show does not go on at the risk of our homeowners.
While we would like things to be back to “normal”, for the time being we’ll continue to play it safe.
