DMF Refund Program
Lifestyle Communities has appointed Deloitte to administer a voluntary refund program relating to certain Deferred Management Fees previously paid by former residents.

Latest Information:
On 21 August 2026, the Victorian Court of Appeal dismissed Lifestyle Communities' appeal against the VCAT orders made on 25 July 2025 concerning Deferred Management Fee (DMF) provisions in certain Lifestyle Communities agreements and, as a result, upheld those orders.
Following consideration of the Court's decision, the company has decided not to appeal the Court of Appeals’ decision.
Lifestyle Communities has engaged Deloitte to administer a program for eligible former residents to apply for a DMF refund. Applications will be assessed by Deloitte on a case-by-case basis against the program eligibility criteria. Where an application is approved, the aim is for payment to be made within 21 days of a successful application being finalised.

Participation in the program is entirely voluntary. You are not required to participate in the Deloitte refund program and remain free to seek independent legal advice or pursue a refund via your legal advisors and/or through the court system.
