- Hear from a Homeowner at Lifestyle Deanside
When I first set foot in Lifestyle Communities, I was greeted by a beautiful sunny day that perfectly mirrored the community's surroundings. The sight of people leisurely lounging by the pool caught my attention immediately. I couldn't help but marvel at how impeccably neat everything looked, in stark contrast to the bustling suburbs. As I was invited inside, my amazement only grew. The array of amenities on offer, from the Clubhouse and two swimming pools & spa to the gym, library, and theatre, left me in awe. I distinctly remember thinking, "This is amazing. This is definitely something for me. I can embrace the luxury of resort-style living in my twilight years."
Choosing my home, the Bowman Corner, was a heartwarming experience. After discussing what I had in mind with the Lifestyle Communities team, I was shown various homes. However, it was the Bowman Corner that truly captured my heart. It had everything I had on my wish list and more.
There are several features of my home that I absolutely adore. The wrap-around veranda, reminiscent of my previous house, provides a sense of familiarity and comfort. The colour scheme, both inside and out, is simply enchanting. I am particularly fond of the butler's pantry and the convenience of the powder room. The walk-in robe, complete with a tallboy and dressing table, is a delightful addition. It almost instantly felt like home to me, with some features resembling my previous residence.
Living near the Caroline Springs shopping centre has introduced me to a serene lake I have come to cherish. It's a serene spot that I visit regularly, and it's become a favourite place of mine.
As for shopping, I still enjoy going to Melton, my hometown since 1965. It holds a special place in my heart, and the familiarity of it all is comforting.
When it comes to dining out, I particularly favour a couple of spots. "The Red Beetle" is my go-to for coffee and lunch, while I prefer "The Lakeside Hotel" for dinner.
If you're someone contemplating a move to Lifestyle Communities, my advice is simple: "Go and have a look for yourself." The homes and facilities are nothing short of amazing. The sense of community living is truly fantastic, with everyone being exceptionally friendly, including the dedicated Lifestyle team. Loneliness is a foreign concept here. There are countless activities to participate in, from enjoying the swimming pool & spa to Tai Chi, Strength and Balance classes, book clubs, theatre productions, billiards, and so much more. I couldn't be happier with my decision, and I wholeheartedly recommend embracing the Lifestyle Communities experience. It's a decision you won't regret.
