Keeping our homeowners healthy and well

As we all know, this is a rapidly evolving situation, and Lifestyle Communities is keeping up-to-date with advice from the Australian Government to ensure the ongoing wellbeing of our homeowners, employees and visitors. As a result, we have implemented the following:

  • Clubhouses and other communal facilities are temporarily closed in line with Government directives
  • All group events have been postponed
  • We are focused on supporting our homeowners and looking after vulnerable people
  • A virtual Wellness program is rolling out to homeowners to keep them fit, healthy and engaged 
  • A mobile book and film library is available for those that are isolated

What’s on your mind?

  • Are works on site still proceeding?

    We’re pleased to announce our build program continues and our construction team, Todd Devine Homes, and our landscapers are still on site operating under recommended protocols. This is of course allowable under government guidelines, but we also believe it is really important in helping the economy and keeping our local trades employed. We are working to a high standard on site to ensure that we are complying with physical distancing rules, including having staggered lunch breaks and ensuring the number of trades on each home at a time is limited to the requirements per sqm. We’re also making sure we keep our amenities for all staff nice and clean, with all contractors practicing high levels of personal hygiene.

  • Will the construction of my home be impacted?

    As our construction works on site roll on, our beautiful homes are continuing to be built so that we can welcome more homeowners into our communities. We have recently adjusted some of our onsite programming to reflect the current volume of works in the pipeline, which may mean slight adjustments to the building order and dates. This impact will be minimal and is a normal process during development where the build order and programme gets adjusted as the project evolves.

    Our high quality homes will continue to get delivered in line with our overall forecast dates and our helpful Lifestyle Consultants will be able to talk you through housing construction dates or answer any questions you may have.

  • Are the new Clubhouse buildings still going to get built?

    We know the importance of delivering our incredible clubhouse and resort lifestyle as early as possible to our homeowners. Our construction works on site continue to proceed to get our new clubhouses finished as soon as possible, and in line with our current building programme.

    Whilst current government restrictions may not allow the clubhouses to be fully opened at this time, we are not letting this slow down the construction activity on site. We hope that once the new clubhouses are ready, the restrictions will be dropped and we’ll be able to launch our fantastic new facilities to our homeowners.

  • Can I still visit a community?

    Personal tours can be arranged via appointment. However, if you have recently travelled in the last 14 days, had direct contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19, or are experiencing any symptoms such as fever, a cough, sore throat or breathing difficulties, we kindly ask you to postpone your visit to another time.

    We also have the option of conducting appointments via phone and video chat should this be your preference.

  • I feel uncertain about the economic climate and my ability to sell my home.

    We appreciate that there is so much information out there and that things can be overwhelming, and in times like these it’s reassuring to know that Lifestyle Communities has very generous settlement terms for your new home. You have up to 6 months after your home has been completed to settle and we also offer very flexible deposit options.

    If you are concerned about selling your current home please don’t be worried, we are here to work with you during this time in a no pressure environment. Whilst no one has a crystal ball, we will all get through this together, and we will support you in taking the next step in your journey to downsize to a bigger life.

  • I'm a self-funded retiree and my superannuation balance has reduced. What now?

    With super funds falling victim to the effects of Covid-19, you might be searching for a way to keep your retirement plan healthy. The great news is that our model of affordability means you can unlock equity tied up in your old house to put towards your retirement nest egg. Plus, you’ll have no stamp duty, council rates or water rates to pay, so you can keep your retirement plan alive and well, no matter what happens to your super.

  • How can I stay in touch and get updated?

    Our locally based contact centre is fully operational and our onsite teams are all contactable.
